What are Afterpay, Acima, and Snap?
They are financing alternatives to credit cards. If approved you can make online purchases to be paid in fixed, monthly installments.
Do they provide a credit check?
Afterpay and Acima will run a soft credit check when you apply, but it won’t impact your credit score. Once approved, your payments will affect your credit score, so make sure to pay on time. Snap, however, will pull a hard credit check, which may impact your credit score.
If I return a financed purchase, how do refunds work?
Refunds post to your finance accounts once we process your request. If you’ve already made a payment, a credit will go back to your bank or debit card that you used to make the payments. If we issue a store credit instead of a refund, you’re still responsible for paying off your loan.
